The Sunshine Hope Committee has undertaken extensive work for needy children—including orphans, children with disabilities, those living below the poverty line, child laborers, and children who have previously shown no interest in any work or extracurricular activities. The Committee embraces these children, nurturing them with parental warmth and affection while integrating them into programs focused on education and personality development. Since 2012, the organization has rescued a large number of children working in hotels, factories, and roadside eateries, bringing them out of their dire circumstances and connecting them with the realm of education. Our organization has consistently provided them with free school-related assistance, including tuition fees, writing materials, uniforms, textbooks, stationery, private tutoring, meals, and accommodation.
Alongside academic education, the children are encouraged to participate in various competitions to foster their character, mental faculties, and physical development. Furthermore, various programs are regularly organized to instill Indian culture and values in the children. To date, the organization has nurtured and supported 5,004 children hailing from various regions of Rajasthan. Children represent the future of the nation; therefore, it is absolutely essential to ensure that their foundation is strong. Upon the completion of their studies, the organization has successfully helped a large number of these children secure employment. These very children are now supporting their own households and, simultaneously, taking care of their parents.
Similarly, the committee is committed to the upliftment of widows, abandoned women, and women from low-income groups within society. These women are empowered to become self-reliant by providing them with training in various skills, such as culinary arts, tailoring, *mehndi* application, beauty parlor services, computer languages, singing, and instrumental music. From 2012 to 2024, the committee has successfully enabled women to become self-reliant. Today, the children and women who have been connected to education through the committee donate half of their earnings as gifts to other such children and women, thereby helping them, too, to achieve similar success. The Sunshine Hope Committee takes immense pride in serving the underprivileged children and women of society with complete dedication, and it inspires every section of society to extend their support to them. Just as the morning sunbeams infuse energy into the world, the Sunshine Hope Committee—acting as a ray of hope—infuses light, energy, and self-confidence into the darkened lives of underprivileged children and women; and it will continue to do so.
